About MAP

Marches Access Point – MAP – is a community group that represents and champions the community of Kington and surrounding areas by offering access to a wide range of services and training.
MAP’s objective is to build a better, brighter and sustainable quality of life for all current and future generations in Kington and the Marches.

What we do

At MAP you can use the internet and take part in a range of individual and group computer sessions and other training courses.

We also have a range of office equipment and services for hire to local businesses, community and voluntary groups.

Free support and advice is available to those who are preparing to return to work including courses on form filling, letter writing, report writing and improving your telephone skills.

So why not get going and learn how to use a computer starting with the basics of a keyboard and mouse, then progress on to using the internet to search for information, or apply for jobs. You can also learn how to pay your car tax online, check your Council Tax and much more. Perhaps you need a qualification in English or Maths to fill a gap in your CV? If so, why not brush up you English and / or Maths skills, take a test and gain a qualification? Just pop in or contact us and we can get you on the right track.
